Grace's* Story
From Fear to Hope - A Young Mother's Journey to Safety When No One Else Could Keep Her - A Story of Protection and Hope
When Grace was 17 years old and five months pregnant, her future became uncertain.
Due to policy restrictions, she could no longer remain at the children's home where she had been staying. Facing the possibility of losing stability at such a critical moment in her life, she was scared, overwhelmed, and unsure of what the future would hold.
After prayer and careful consideration, our family opened our home to her, believing that God was leading us to step in and provide safety during one of the most vulnerable seasons of her life.
Today, Grace continues attending school and preparing for the birth of her baby, due on 25 June 2026. Slowly, fear has been replaced with hope. She smiles more, talks more, and is beginning to believe that her future - and her child's future - can be different.
Her journey reminds us that when faith leads the way, fear can be replaced with hope, and uncertainty can become a new beginning.
Sive's Story
From Silence to Belonging
When Sive first joined our mentoring program at 16 years old, he barely spoke. Week after week, he sat quietly with his hoodie pulled low over his face, avoiding eye contact and keeping his distance from others.
Growing up without a father figure and carrying deep frustration, trust did not come easily to him. Like many young men, he had learned that people often show up for a short time - and then disappear.
But we continued showing up.
Over time, conversations began, trust slowly formed, and something remarkable started to happen. The quiet, withdrawn boy we first met began to change - speaking more, participating, and eventually becoming confident and engaged.
In March 2025, we had the privilege of baptizing Sive - one of the proudest moments of our journey. Today, he is part of our family, spending time in our home and building strong relationships with our children.
His story reminds us that when someone refuses to give up on a young life, transformation becomes possible.

Our Bigger Vision: The Restoration Farm & Family Village
Grace's* story is not just about one young girl
Building Something Bigger
It is one of the reasons we believe so strongly in building something bigger.
Through experiences like hers, we began to see the deep need for safe, family-style homes — not large institutional environments, but homes where children and young mothers can experience what a healthy family truly looks like.
The vision of the Restoration Farm & Family Village was born from moments like this.
We believe every child deserves more than survival — they deserve belonging.
And every young mother deserves the opportunity to build a future, not alone, but surrounded by support.
Because when one life is restored, a generation can be changed.
Our Vision
We believe children belong in families, not institutions.
Our vision is to establish a Restoration Farm & Family Village where foster families live together and build strong, faith-centered homes within a supportive community.
Our family — together with our own children and the foster children already in our care — will become the first family living on the Restoration Farm. We are already fostering children in our home, and this farm will allow us to provide safe, family-based care for even more children in the future.
Here, every child will be supported through meaningful mentorship, grounded in strong values, and equipped with practical life skills — laying a foundation for independence, dignity, and a renewed sense of purpose.
Stepping Forward in Faith
As a foundation, we are stepping forward in faith and commitment by investing our own resources to secure the first property. We are trusting God to build this work step by step while partnering with others who share this vision.
We are trusting God and partnering with others to raise R3,000,000 needed to establish the first Restoration Farm & Family Village.
