Our Latest Renovation Project - Oliver House at ACVV Khayalethu Child & Youth Care Centre

This project was completed and handed over in early January 2026.

Heart of the Father Foundation had the privilege of assisting Oliver House, a semi-independent home that provides accommodation and support for young men who are preparing to step into adulthood.

The house was in urgent need of repairs and practical improvements. Through this project, necessary renovations and maintenance were carried out to restore the home and create a safer, more functional and dignified living environment for the young men staying there.

Through the generosity of supporters and partners, a total of R87,000 was invested into the repairs and upgrades at Oliver House. These improvements have made a meaningful difference in the daily lives of the boys living in the home.

This project was made possible by everyday people who generously contributed materials, labour, financial support, and prayer. Their willingness to serve reflects the heart of our mission — communities coming together to care for vulnerable children and young people.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who played a part in making this project a success and trust that through these acts of service we continue to reflect the love and compassion of Christ.

Our Past Renovation Project - MTR Smit Children's Haven – House David

Thank you to every individual and company that made this a successful project!

In early 2025, We had the privilege of serving at MTR Smit Children's Haven, specifically in House David, which provides care for boys in need of safety, stability, and support.

This project focused on improving the living environment of the home by assisting with practical renovations and upgrades. The work helped create a safer, more welcoming, and more dignified space for the boys who live there, supporting the important work already being done by the caregivers and staff.

Through the generosity of donors and supporters, a total of R178,000 was invested into the renovations and improvements for House David. These upgrades made a meaningful difference in the daily living environment of the children and contributed toward creating a place where they can feel secure and cared for.

Although this was a relatively small project, it reflects the heart of our foundation — stepping in where help is needed and serving children and caregivers with practical love and compassion.
